Knocking it out of the park – Ella Baker teacher given award by Seattle Mariners Radio Network

The Seattle Mariners Radio Network, WSECU and Seattle Sports 710 AM recognized Ella Baker Elementary's Rebecca Gillman as a 2024 Teacher of the Week! This award was given to 24 teachers throughout Washington who have positively impacted their school by building strong classroom communities and demonstrating excellent teaching practices. Gillman was presented a $1,000 check in early august by Seattle Mariners radio announcer Rick Rizzs and a representative from WSECU at a Mariners game.
